If you were looking for relief from the bone-chilling temperatures that have frozen Michigan the past week, you'll have to wait awhile longer for any sort of refuge.
DETROIT - A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Southeast Michigan until 1 p.m. today. During this time, areas could see 1 to 3 inches of snow across the region, with the higher amounts falling between I-94 and I-69.
It’s expected to be extremely cold beginning Friday morning in Metro Detroit. The National Weather Service has issued a Cold Weather Advisory for 1 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23, to 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, for dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero.

A frigid cold settled across the five boroughs overnight, chilling out City ahead of a massive winter snowstorm forecast to be one of the most brutal to strike the region in years. Saturday started off with subfreezing temperatures,
