Marvin and Mae Acosta bought $1.586 billion Powerball ticket at a California 7-11, said they would dedicate some prize money to a trust and charities.

The winning numbers were 4, 25, 31, 52 and 59, with the Powerball number being 19. In a news release, lottery officials said the $1.8 billion jackpot was "a landmark event" that was the second biggest in Powerball and U.S. lottery history and spanned a record 47 consecutive days.
