Wind gusts of 40 to 50+ mph are likely Sunday night into Monday as a cold front blasts through with a chance of severe thunderstorms. The cold front is likely to cross Northern Ohio on either side of midnight. The cold front could bring isolated strong to severe storms, with damaging winds and minor flooding being the main threats.
There are several alerts in effect for Monday with strong and damaging winds and lake effect snow. Wind gusts have already exceeded 50mph. Expect wind gusts 50-60+mph for today. Downed trees and power outages are a concern.

Winds stay up overnight with gusts up to 35mph possible. Snow showers should be fewer and a little less intense as they fade. The cold is with us for the rest of 2025 and more light snow is possible.
Monday will be sunny with a high near 27 and wind chill temperatures between zero and 10 degrees with gusts as high as 34 mph, according to the forecast. The wind gusts will die down Monday night, with a low of 17 degrees. Temperatures will warm up Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs of 41 and 46 degrees and lows of 28.
