The radar of south-east Australia this morning shows showers and thunderstorms for many areas. A cold front crossed parts of southern South Australia before dawn this morning, producing storms and damaging wind gusts. A line of heavy showers and severe thunderstorms then moved across the Adelaide area and the Mount Lofty Ranges early this morning, bringing further strong to damaging wind gusts. Some of the top wind gusts observed include: • 106 km/hr at Outer Harbour, SA • 96 km/hr at Adelaide A

The latest radar loop shows the development of two weather systems affecting Australia since Tuesday 11:00am AEST. A vigorous cold front is pushing through south-west Western Australia, bringing showers, gusty winds, and thunderstorms. The potential for locally heavy falls with thunderstorms continues for parts of the west coast this morning.
