A tropical low is developing off the Queensland coast and may strengthen into a tropical cyclone later this week. The tropical low, known as 12U, will stay to the east of the country, out over the Coral Sea, for the next few days and won’t have a big impact on our weather during this time. This weather system could strengthen into a tropical cyclone on Friday or Saturday, before moving towards, and potentially onto the Queensland coast.
